IDSA welcomes Steve Van Andel as New Chairman of US Chamber of Commerce 
New Delhi, 21 June 2013: The Indian Direct Selling Association (IDSA) welcomes Mr. Steve Van Andel chosen as a Chairman of US Chamber of Commerce. The US Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions.  Steve Van Andel is also the Chairman of Amway who is one of the leading direct selling entity in India. 
Ms. Chavi Hemanth, Secretary General of IDSA said, “INDIAN DIRECT SELLING ASSOCIATION   congratulates Steve Van Andel for his appointment as the new Chairman of the US Chamber of Commerce. The foundation laid by the past Chairman have paved the path for strengthening global relations via various verticals of businesses and I am sure that under the able leadership of Steve Van Andel will lead the global business relations a step forward.”

WFDSA is a non-government voluntary organization, representing Direct Selling Industry globally as a federation worldwide. It is reported that worldwide retail sales by its members is US $ 153,727 million through the activities of more than 91,533,825 independent sales persons.

Save Dissent to Save Democracy   THE rising instances of physical violence and threats against political opponents and the inability to accept dissent must raise huge concerns amongst all of us who see democracy as perhaps the really stellar achievement since Independence.
