Please find attached the invite for the Doers’ Walk for Water.

The Doers’ Walk for Water is being organized by the NGO FORCE, in partnership with the UN Information Centre for India and Bhutan (UNIC), and several other organizations, to felicitate those who have taken the lead in Water Conservation and Efficient Water management.
School and College students, representatives of Residents Welfare Associations, Corporate Employees, Civil Society members and Community groups that have voluntarily worked for the cause of water conservation, will be participating in the Walk. VENUE: Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi
The programme schedule is as given below.

9.15 – 10 am           – Registration and assembly on the JN Stadium track
10.00 – 10.15 am      - 5 ‘R’s join forces on the track
10.15– 10.35 am       – Flagging off and Doers’ join the Walk for Water
10.35 – 10.40am       - Entry into the Hall of Fame and start of the Finale
10.40 – 10.45 am      - Welcome Address by Jyoti Sharma, FORCE
10.45 – 11.00am       - Address by Guest of Honour - Neeraj Jain – WaterAid India
– Vijay Kumar - CEO Delhi Jal Board
11.00 – 11.15am       - UN Address by Guest of Honour - Kiran Mehra Kerpelman - UNIC Director for India and Bhutan
11.15 - 11.40am        - Pledge and Certificate awarding ceremony by Chief Guest - Sh Kapil Mishra Dy Chairman, DJB and Guests of Honor
11.40 – 12 noon       - Speech by Chief Guest
12 noon                    - Vote of thanks followed by Media interaction, Registrations for ‘Doers Federation’ and recording of Doers’ Stories.  

For Media

1)   We will be facilitating media interaction with the Special guests
2)    We will also arrange media meetings with some ‘Doers’ – you may like to do a feature on them
3)    A ‘Hall of Fame’ will be madeBased on the information available with FORCE, we will be making a collage of ‘Doers and their contributions to Delhi’s Water.
