THE CITY OF “RAMRAJ”IN MID OF BIJNOR AND MEERUT

Kishori Lal Sagar “Sagar Sons” developed “Ramraj”a township in mid way of Bijnor and Meerut.“Sagar Sons” was established by Mr R R Sagar who did jute business in Calcutta from the year 1943 -52.
He made enough money to intent to buy 1000 Acres of agriculture land in the plains of Ganges ,the site selected between Bijnor and Meerut absorbing fertile now called”RamRaj” an almost midway between two cities.
After survey the Director Mr Raj Roop Sagar in process of buying his friends from reputed family Grewals said let my family buy 500 Acres and sagar buy 500 to keep the two family together at this new location.
Thus new township of Ramraj was established by the two known families of Ludhiana.
Sagar Sons with prime share of Mr Rajroop Sagar who did share land deal with his eldest brother Mr PayraLal Sagar and Mr Sohan lal Sagar,and after their death legal heir taking the lead.
Thus Three Sagar brother with their family lived in Ramraj uptil 2005 and left one by one after selling their lands and houses to settle in nearby city Meerut

Save Dissent to Save Democracy   THE rising instances of physical violence and threats against political opponents and the inability to accept dissent must raise huge concerns amongst all of us who see democracy as perhaps the really stellar achievement since Independence. AAP’s attack on BJP headquarters and acts of arson committed under the very noses of their elite leadership; the attacks on Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in Gujarat in the last two days; the recent manhandling of the caretaker of journalist Siddharth Varadarajan’s house by some garden variety thugs; and the violence and threats meted out regularly to their political opponents by political parties is surely deplorable and condemnable.
