Mr. Arvind Kejriwal,
Chief Minister of NCT,
Dear Mr. Kejriwal,
It is 2.5 years since you were appointed Chief Minister – unfortunately you has no time for Development Issues of Delhi. You have to seriously address development issues to make real impact in improving Quality Of Life of People & Economy of Delhi.
Just consider this STANDARD BUILDING PRACTICES in NCR –
I asked one of neighbor Re-Building a House investing about Rs.20m – that you must have 20 Kw Roof Top Solar and he told me some of his relation from IIT is PhD in Solar Power and advised him against it. House was funded by Banks and neededRs.10 Lac for Off-Grid system. He could be generating 100 Units of power every day on average for 25 years – his present average Tariff is Rs.10 per unit –
He could have been generating Rs.3,65,000 worth of electricity every year – Rs.1 Cr in lifetime. Profits on Compounding at 10% annual interest could be Rs.10 Cr after accounting for O&M, Produced CLEAN ENERGY – Save Investment worth about Rs.20 Lakh on Conventional Power by NCT Government or other generators on Coal Mining to Generation, EHT Grid, HT/LT Power Grid.
He instead invested in Invertors and Diesel Generator worth about Rs.5 Lakh.
He also invested over Rs.10 Lakh on Under Ground Tank & Overhead Tanks Almost Entirely Avoidable if DJB had ensured 24H Water Supply. Area occupied by U/G Tank & Overhead Tank could be worth Rs.5m.

Here in the CLIPPINGS from CGWB latest release it is clear that River Bed Gradient is steep fall of 16m in NCT [P-26] so Water in Yamuna or Underground shall flow naturally to Wazirabad Intakes. P-23 Table tell us Rainfall is 611mm but Evaporation is 2224mm – SO EVERY POND OR LOW LEVEL STORAGE WILL DRY UP IN SUMMER – DULLARDS SUPPORT IT.
BUT Table 4.1 is Critical – Water Table in May is 0-10m bgl for 675 sq.mt area – 46% area in Delhi has Easy Access to Ground Water – Why go to Palla for Pumping? Stupidly Delhi has BANNED Tube-wells. THIS AREA IS MOST VULNERABLE to EARTH QUAKES. 383 Sq.km area is 10-20m bgl too should be encouraged to have Tube-Wells.

Ø    So 72% Delhi can have regular/standby Ground Water Extraction/Supply.
Ø    DJB Should Expedite Construction of Yamuna Dams, Lining of Old Canal,
Ø    Buildings Height be 30ft, 45ft, 60ft linked to Water Table 10m, 20m,+20m
Ø    Fire Hydrants in Water Lines & Fire Hose Reels Be BUILT with Home Water
Supply in New Projects over 30ft in height with Coupling for Delhi Fire Service.

Rouhani wins Iran's Presidential election Moderate cleric Hassan Rouhani won Iran's presidential election on Saturday, the interior ministry said, scoring a surprising landslide victory over conservative hardliners without the need of a second round run-off.Interior minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar announced on state television that Rouhani secured just over 50 percent of the ballot based on a 72 percent turnout of 50 million eligible voters. Mr Hassan Rouhani ... got the absolute majority of votes and was elected as president," Najjar said. Tehran Mayor Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, a hard-line conservative, lagged behind with about 16 percent of the votes. Iran's top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili, he too a hard-line conservative, earned 11 percent. The voter turnout was 72.7 percent. President-elect Hassan Rohani, sixty four years old, is known as a moderate conservative. He has been stressing the need to improve ties with Western nations, and is back...
Save Dissent to Save Democracy   THE rising instances of physical violence and threats against political opponents and the inability to accept dissent must raise huge concerns amongst all of us who see democracy as perhaps the really stellar achievement since Independence. AAP’s attack on BJP headquarters and acts of arson committed under the very noses of their elite leadership; the attacks on Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in Gujarat in the last two days; the recent manhandling of the caretaker of journalist Siddharth Varadarajan’s house by some garden variety thugs; and the violence and threats meted out regularly to their political opponents by political parties is surely deplorable and condemnable. This is a fatally flawed trend which will destroy the very foundations of our democratic institutions if not pushed back with all the strength and condemnation that the civil society can mobilise. Replaying the past To begin with, it must be clarified that we should ...
