​With utmost humility and prayers on my lips, I hereby congratulate you on the completion of the first phase of Akal University - Guru ki Kashi.

The University has started functioning and it was my personal wish to spread the Inter-Faith message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib all across this world through the Akal University. The Inaugural Session of Spiritual Studies of Guru Granth Sahib will commence on 20th August 2015 with Akhand Path and Gurmat Samagam at the Akal University, Guru ki Kashi, Damdama Sahib.

Although you have a busy and hectic schedule, still I would like to humbly invite you to be a part of this auspicious spiritual occasion and bless us with your presence.

Please join us for this divine occasion and give us an opportunity to host you. We shall look after your local transportation, boarding and lodging requirements to the best of our ability.

Save Dissent to Save Democracy   THE rising instances of physical violence and threats against political opponents and the inability to accept dissent must raise huge concerns amongst all of us who see democracy as perhaps the really stellar achievement since Independence. AAP’s attack on BJP headquarters and acts of arson committed under the very noses of their elite leadership; the attacks on Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in Gujarat in the last two days; the recent manhandling of the caretaker of journalist Siddharth Varadarajan’s house by some garden variety thugs; and the violence and threats meted out regularly to their political opponents by political parties is surely deplorable and condemnable.
