The Brand New Puneri Paltan is All Set to Roar at Balewadi Stadium
Pune, February 10th, 2016: Puneri Paltan, the Pune franchise of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League, embarks its new journey for the home matches here in Balewadi Stadium. The team is all set to battle it out in the forthcoming home matches with renewed vigour and strength.

Determined to roar in all new avatar, Puneri Paltan completed its intensive training camp in Pune before the start of Season3. Aimed at fostering Kabaddi talent in the country, the franchise, promoted by Insurekot Sports management had organized School tournament and  IT championship Talent Hunt’ to reiterate its commitment to recognize sports talent at grass-root level.

In addition to this, the franchise also announced its official tie-up with KyaZoonga as ticketing partner, Uber as Fan mobility partner, RedFM as Radio partner, Shri Chaitanya Educational Institutes and Coverfox Insurance as Associate partners, Dida as Apparel partner, Rolls Mania as Hospitality Partner and Favcy as Digital Partner for Season 3 .
Kailash Kandpal, Team Manager of Puneri Paltan said, “In spite of trying hard in the last 2 seasons of ProKabaddi, Puneri Paltan ended at the bottom in the rankings. We have done a lot of introspection and are back this season with a renewed energy. With players like Manjeet Chillar, Ajay Thakur, Deepak Hooda, Prashant Chavan and Jasmer Gulia etc; Puneri Paltan has already started making its presence felt. We hope to see a huge turnout of Puneri Paltan fans in Balewadi to cheer the home team!”

Kabaddi is one of the true indigenous sports being played in India. Hence, it deserves all the love and support from the fans form the city.
Puneri Paltan, Coach Ashok Shinde said, “Training has been intense and consistent.  The team is all poised up to put up a good show. We have some of the best players of our country playing for us. It’s been a great experience working together at a cohesive unit and look forward to a fantastic Season 3 in Pro Kabaddi.”  

 The franchise is optimistic to provide exciting and great experience to the fans of Puneri Paltan at Balewadi Stadium in Pune during the hometown matches.  Puneri Paltan will debut its first match on home mat for Season 3 on February 11th, 2016 Patna Pirates.
