Mayawati releases BSP list of 403 for UP poll

Mayawati today on her 56 th birthday released list of  candidates of UP assembly,thus beginning of her party BSP campaign to follow in full swing. BSP 403 candidates in the fray allotted  tickets to 88 S C candidates, 113 OBCs, 85 minorities, including Muslims and 117 upper castes including 74 Brahmins.Mayawati briefing media said  "The elephant statues were not erected in parks as party symbols. They were erected as part of party ideologue Babu Kanshi Ram's will."

Addressing party workers Mayawati appealed to hold rallies in villages to ensure the party’s victory in the assembly polls in the state.

Criticizing the election commission’s decision to cover elephant’s statutes all over the state, she said, election commission should take decision on Congress symbol displayed in a Chandigarh park and RLD’s symbol put up with government funds.

On the occasion, Mayawati formally released the list of all 403 BSP candidates for UP Assembly election.

Meanwhile, the BSP chief also released a list of all 403 candidates for the UP Assembly elections.

The party has given tickets to 88 SC candidates, 113 OBCs, 85 minorities (including Muslims) and 117 upper castes including 74 Brahmins.

Mayawati said no corrupt ministers and MLAs have been included in the list. Only clean people have been given tickets, she added.
Mayawati also released a new volume of her biography.

She will begin her election campaign in Uttar Pradesh later this month for the 55 constituencies going to polls in the first phase on 8th February. UP 55 constituencies going to polls in the first phase on February 8 where Mayawati to campaign this month.
