MANISH SHARMA APPOINTED AS MANAGING DIRECTOR,PANASONIC INDIA– CONSUMER AND ENTERPRISE DIVISION
09th April, 2013, India  Japan’s largest consumer electronics company, Panasonic today announced the elevation of Mr. Manish Sharma as Managing Director of Panasonic India. He will be responsible for the strategic planning, sales & marketing of company’s consumer and enterprise divisions with immediate effect. With this, Manish has also been appointed to the Board of Directors of Panasonic India.
Manish, in his previous role, was responsible for driving profitable growth across the entire portfolio of consumer products and has catapulted the Panasonic brand to make it a household name across the country. Manish’s elevation is a part of Panasonic strategy of streamlining business structures to increase competitiveness and profitability across the group.
In his new role, Manish will now be responsible for the strategic planning, business development and sales & marketing functions of Panasonic India across consumer and enterprise business which caters to the B2B, B2G, and IT segments focusing on system solutions and industrial devices.

About his new role, Mr. Manish Sharma – Managing Director, Panasonic India said, “I am very happy to take on the additional responsibility in the company. Manish Sharma joined Panasonic in August 2008 as Product Head for VIERA range of Flat Panel Televisions and subsequently took charge as Director of Marketing in April 2010 and became the Managing Director of Consumer Product Division for the company in March 2012. Manish comes with rich eighteen years of experience in industry knowledge and a strong grounding in all aspects of marketing, sales, business development, product support and customer service. He has the distinction of having worked on an extensive portfolio of electronic majors like LG Hotline, Samsung India & Haier India. Manish holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering and MBA in Marketing.
