‘Pathetic’ Chidambaram – Lunatic Economics
September24, 2014 (C) Ravinder Singh ravinderinvent@gmail.com
Nowhere in the world would be in charge of Finance Ministry with such
Lunatic Ideas like ‘We Targeted India to Grow at 8% Under UPA’ and
‘BJP too should target 8% – 10% GDP growth shall be INFLATIONARY’.
GDP growth is DRIVEN by advancement of Technology & Progress of
Technologies in products and services – UPA promoted Outdated
Technologies, Crippled Patent Office
This is TRAGEDY of India that even for the APEX positions where only
the best should be engaged India has absolute Lunatics.
Even the 8% growth rate is Manipulation of Accounts than real.
When many sectors of Indian Economy like manufacture of Consumer Goods
completely stopped and retracted India continued to show significant
growth.
Attaching a Brand Sticker to IMPORTS was BIG VALUE ADDITION and GDP growth.
Even as Industry was practically shut down in case of Electronics and
Electrical Consumer Goods GOI continued to PUMP Funds in to
Industries.
Six fold increase in Funding of Sugar Industry didn’t result in Six
Fold increase in production. Likewise was for most sector.
Almost always Loss Making industries who have not created any
Technology Development or Developed Quality product instead of Shut
Down & Takeover were injected fresh funds.
Even as Nationalized Banks funded over 100% of the Fixed Assets of the
Companies GOI didn’t takeover the shut down companies and Funded New
Companies at new locations at huge cost.
It is common knowledge Banks Fund over 90% to 100% or even more in
Companies yet Banks have no Control and Can’t Easily Takeover
Defaulting NPA Companies.
One section of BJP has clearly backed Money Lenders & Traders and
defended their Right to Loot & Earn Unlimited & Unethical Profits.
‘Wealth Distribution Shall Come With GDP Growth’ but Issue is people
who generate All The Wealth – Farmers, Workers don’t earn even 10% of
GDP.
P. Chidambaram wanted people deprived of Economic Prosperity too
should Consume Water, Electricity, Fruits & Vegetables, get Education
& Healthcare and which he didn’t spell out live in decent homes with
civic amenities.
Even in real estate sector Nationalized Banks funded projects and
Homes 5-8 years in advance and provided Tax Concessions – most
Unproductive Home Building Program.
UPA-I&II did nothing to eliminate ‘Middlemen, Moneylenders & Parasites
from Indian Economy.’ Real Income of 99% Indians Shall Double, Tax
Collection Shall Triple with the exit of PARASITES. This the KEY
DRIVER of Indian Economy.

Rouhani wins Iran's Presidential election Moderate cleric Hassan Rouhani won Iran's presidential election on Saturday, the interior ministry said, scoring a surprising landslide victory over conservative hardliners without the need of a second round run-off.Interior minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar announced on state television that Rouhani secured just over 50 percent of the ballot based on a 72 percent turnout of 50 million eligible voters. Mr Hassan Rouhani ... got the absolute majority of votes and was elected as president," Najjar said. Tehran Mayor Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, a hard-line conservative, lagged behind with about 16 percent of the votes. Iran's top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili, he too a hard-line conservative, earned 11 percent. The voter turnout was 72.7 percent. President-elect Hassan Rohani, sixty four years old, is known as a moderate conservative. He has been stressing the need to improve ties with Western nations, and is back...
Save Dissent to Save Democracy   THE rising instances of physical violence and threats against political opponents and the inability to accept dissent must raise huge concerns amongst all of us who see democracy as perhaps the really stellar achievement since Independence. AAP’s attack on BJP headquarters and acts of arson committed under the very noses of their elite leadership; the attacks on Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in Gujarat in the last two days; the recent manhandling of the caretaker of journalist Siddharth Varadarajan’s house by some garden variety thugs; and the violence and threats meted out regularly to their political opponents by political parties is surely deplorable and condemnable. This is a fatally flawed trend which will destroy the very foundations of our democratic institutions if not pushed back with all the strength and condemnation that the civil society can mobilise. Replaying the past To begin with, it must be clarified that we should ...
