New Delhi March 26National Board of Accreditation (NBA), India, the independent accreditation agency is organizing its 1st World Summit on Accreditation (WOSA-2012) from 25-28 March 2012 at New Delhi, India. NBA has been facilitating improvement of quality and relevance of technical and professional education in the country to bring it at par with international standards.  The Summit is being held at The Ashok, one of the best known global conferencing and stay locations of India.


Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MUDEK), Turkey; Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, International (AACSB International), USA; Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), France; Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Raipur; Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi; Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur; The Institution of Engineers (India) and Standards For Educational Advancement & Accreditation Trust (SEAA) have consented to be Associates of NBA for this event.
All India Management Association (AIMA), Computer Society of India (CSI), Society for Extension Education Agra (SEEA) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) have confirmed their participation in WOSA 2012. Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Government bodies like State Higher Education Commissions and Regulatory Authorities such as All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), PHD Chamber of Commerce, IITs, IIMs, IIITs, NITs and Deans of Faculties , Senior Academics of a number of public and private universities from india and abroad, as also individual faculty members, among others are being invited to participate in the WOSA 2012.
