the sixteen Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), viz. Bharat
Electronics Limited, Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, Bharat Petroleum
Corporation Limited, GAIL(India) Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited,
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam
Limited, National Aluminium Company Limited, NMDC Limited, Neyveli
Lignite Corporation Limited, Oil India Limited, Power Finance
Corporation Limited, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Rashtriya
Ispat Nigam Limited, Rural Electrification Corporation Limited and
Shipping Corporation of India Limited, regular Chief Executive has been
appointed in 14 CPSEs. Only in 2 Navratna CPSEs, viz. NMDC Limited and
National Aluminium Company Limited, a regular Chief Executive is not in
position on date.The above information was given by the Minister for
Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises Shri Praful Patel in a written
reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
