Kiran Bedi Ji’s response:  What has been said by Team Anna is all in public domain. And is not becoming known for the first time. Its all been reported by media time to time. its all on the net.
And being accessed world wide.
All this is part of films in India too.
In fact the question before our politicians and bureaucrats is why this state of affairs at all.
Why have we come this far?
I wish some one in the Parliament had called a special session for reflection to take into account people’s perception which has been aired with evidence.
Shooting the messenger is not the solution. Addressing the message is–with all the seriousness it deserves. .
This is the need of the hour. People are looking for clean and honest political class.
If they were serious they could have brought in electoral, police, judicial and Adm reforms by now, besides an effective lokpal.
Have they? Kiran.
Time media too understands and airs people’s angst as it is.
Some are doing but more needs to be done.

Arvind Kejriwal’s response:

1) Hum sansad ki respect karte hai. Aaj kuch log jo sansad me baithe hai unko leke hume chinta hai. Sansad me aise bhi saansad hai jo ache hai par kuch ke khilaf aapradik mamle chal rahe hai. 162 logo par aapradhik mamle chal rahe hai jaise attempt to murder, murder, corruption etc. Ye chinta ka vishay hai. in logo ke rehte hum kaise umeed kar sakte hai ki vo ek sakt kanoon banaege jo unke sathi saansad ko jail bhijva sakta hai?

2) Hume fast track court banane ki zaroorat hai jo 6 mahine me saare cases inke khilaf jaanch kare aur apne nirneye sunaye. Ya inhe doshi karaar de ya innocent ghoshit kare.

3) Vo kehte hai ki humne sansad ka apmaan kiya hai. Kya un partiyo ne sansad ka apmaan nahi kiye jinhone inhe ticket diya? Kya jab ye log sansad me Bill fadte hai (raajneeti prasaad) tab kya sansad ka apmaan nahi hota? Jab chairs fakte hai tab apmaan nahi hota? Sansad ek pavitra mandir hai aur agar is mandir me geeta fade to kya vo apmaan nahi hai sansad jaise mandir ka? Saansado ke khareed farok karte hai to tab kya sansad ka apmaan nahi hota? Jis sanvidhaan ne unhe kanoon banane ka adhikaar diya usi Sanvidhaan ne hume protest karne ka bhi adhikaar diya hai.

4) Jab ek film Paan SIngh Tomar me hero bolta hai sansad me to daku baithe hai to saari janta taliya bajati hai. Kya ye chinta ka vishay nahi hai? Ye zaada ahem mudda hai. Hume dand dene se kya ye mudda theek ho jayega? kya isse chairs todna ya bill fadna band ho jayega? Team Anna ko target karne se kuch nahi hoga. Hum jo bhi consequences ho usko face karne ke liye tayyar hai. Par humne kuch galat nahi bola. Ye aroup to CAG ke, High Courts vagera se bhi sabit huye hai.

5) Sharad Pawar ko ek thapad mara (halaki hum iska samartan nahi karte) tab sansad ne ispe ghanto charcha ki. Jab ek imaandaar IPS officer Narendra ki hatya hui to kisine ispe charcha nahi ki.

6) Hum Gen VK Singh ki bahut izzat karte hai. Unhone bahut corruption ke khilaaf ladai ladi. Shayad isliye unko target kiya ja raha hai. Sarkaar ne Lokpal se Army ko alag rakha hai. Agar ye case CBI jaanch bhi karti hai to result to pre decided hai kyunki CBI sarkaar ke adhin hai. Hum isliye isko alag karne ki maang kar rahe the. CBI investigation would just be an eyewash.

Rouhani wins Iran's Presidential election Moderate cleric Hassan Rouhani won Iran's presidential election on Saturday, the interior ministry said, scoring a surprising landslide victory over conservative hardliners without the need of a second round run-off.Interior minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar announced on state television that Rouhani secured just over 50 percent of the ballot based on a 72 percent turnout of 50 million eligible voters. Mr Hassan Rouhani ... got the absolute majority of votes and was elected as president," Najjar said. Tehran Mayor Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, a hard-line conservative, lagged behind with about 16 percent of the votes. Iran's top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili, he too a hard-line conservative, earned 11 percent. The voter turnout was 72.7 percent. President-elect Hassan Rohani, sixty four years old, is known as a moderate conservative. He has been stressing the need to improve ties with Western nations, and is back...
Save Dissent to Save Democracy   THE rising instances of physical violence and threats against political opponents and the inability to accept dissent must raise huge concerns amongst all of us who see democracy as perhaps the really stellar achievement since Independence. AAP’s attack on BJP headquarters and acts of arson committed under the very noses of their elite leadership; the attacks on Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in Gujarat in the last two days; the recent manhandling of the caretaker of journalist Siddharth Varadarajan’s house by some garden variety thugs; and the violence and threats meted out regularly to their political opponents by political parties is surely deplorable and condemnable. This is a fatally flawed trend which will destroy the very foundations of our democratic institutions if not pushed back with all the strength and condemnation that the civil society can mobilise. Replaying the past To begin with, it must be clarified that we should ...
