ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES AUTUMN SESSION AUGUST-DECEMBER 2012

The Italian language courses offered by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, New Delhi, are in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the Common European Framework of Reference (CEF) for languages, which divides foreign language proficiency into three broad levels:

Courses covered at Istituto Italiano di Cultura, New Delhi: A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 (Part I)
Duration of each level: 120 hours (60 hours in the case of C1 Part I)

Classes will be formed only when a minimum of 12 students enroll.
At the conclusion of the session, there will be written and oral examinations for all levels. Students need to score 50% marks to qualify the examination in order to reach the next level.
Application in the prescribed format should be submitted along with proof of residence and 2 recent passport size photographs. Applicants for A2 and above levels should submit photocopies of certificates of the previous level also.
Students will have access to the following services:
-         Study material and photocopies;
-         Library and Reading Room with Internet facility;
-         Cafeteria;
-         Invitations to cultural activities of the Centre;
Week-end courses shall begin from Saturday, 4th August 2012.
Week-day courses shall begin from Monday, 6th August 2012.
Non-refundable Fee:  Rs.12,000 for Week-day classes, Rs.14,000 for Week-end classes.
Cost of Books Rete! 1 & 2 = Rs.1100 each set. Rete! 3 = Rs.600/- each.
