  CzechTourism India European Quartet countries are gearing up to attract Indian visitors Delhi, 28 February 2012 CzechTourism in India commenced a new season by organising an annual roadshow for four Central European countries under the brand European Quartet – Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Events held in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi hosted till now the largest representation of these upcoming European countries.    VHP Memo to Home Minister & SASB against cutting Amarnath Yatra New Delhi Feb 28, 2012. Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) today submit a memorandum to the union home minister with regard to the duration of yatra for the year 2012. Memo signed by the VHP state president shri Swadesh Pal Gupta & the state secretary general shri Satyendra Mohan is also sent to the chairman Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and the state governor shri NN Vohra. In its Memorandum, VHP demanded that looking to the increased number of pilgrims every year, the duration of the yatra should not be less then two months, as usual. Hi Naresh, In less than a month over 200 elephants have been killed in Cameroon. These poachers are going into the Bouba Ndjida National Park from Chad and killing these protected elephants. Tell Cameroon that it has to step up to protect its wildlife. » With Cameroon's elephant population estimated to be a maximum of 1500 elephants, this recent slaughter is a devastating loss to the population . Furthermore, these elephants were supposed to be protected: they were in a national park! Mongabay.com reports that these elephants have been killed for their tusks and that these ivory poachers are Sudanese.
