2.]  Ashok Gulati wanted India to Cultivate High Value Crops than
Foodgrains. When told 80% Farmers/Area across the world, Including USA
Cultivate Food-grains and Oilseeds – he said ‘This is 56% in India’
but actually India raise Low Value Crops on 90% of Area.

Foodgrains Production > India 264 MT – USA 445 MT
Oilseeds Production > India 33 MT – USA 116 MT

He said India’s food-grains Consumption is On Decline for many years
and This Lunatic wanted Indian Farmers to Cut Down Wheat & Rice
Production when all food-grains production in India is barely 264
million tones which includes all grains, oilseeds & pulses for
projected population of 150 crore by 2030 whereas US Product for
around 33 crore population is 445 million tones.

India produces just 10.7% of World Food-grains production 2469 million
tones and 6% of Oilseeds – World Production 528 million tones for 17%
World Population. Here I am Comparing Best of India & Best of the
World. He admitted to half of Malnourished Children are in India.

In fact Corn Production alone in USA in 2013-14 is estimated to be 353
million tones. USA produces 116 MT of Oilseeds compared to 32.88 MT
for India.

Area under Foodgrains is 126 million hectares and 28 million tones for
Oilseeds.

4.]  Ashok Gulati stated Indians are Switching to Superior Foods, Meats

Fact is India consumes on average just 1% of Meats and 8% of Dairy &
Eggs in diet.  Following image illustrates World Average Calorie
intake is 15% more and China and USA 20% and 50% more calories.
