| 4.3 magnitude felt in Kutch district of Gujarat |
A mild quake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was felt this morning in Kutch district of Gujarat. However, there were no reports of any casualties. Officials of the Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) said that a minor earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale hit Kutch district at 6.30 and 7.47 AM today. The epicentre of the earthquake was 22 kms northwest from Bhachau town of district.
Kutch district officials informed that people living in high rises and tall buildings in Kutch experienced the quake and ran out of their houses but there were no reports of any damage to property or casualties due to the tremors.
