ADIDAS AND FC PUNE CITY ANNOUNCE A 3-YEAR ASSOCIATION
 India, 24th September, 2015
adidas has announced a 3-year partnership with FC Pune City (FCPC) beginning with the upcoming Indian Soccer League (ISL) Season II. The FCPC home and away kits were unveiled in the presence of its first-team players Adrian Mutu, Tuncay Sanli, Didier Zokora, Eugeneson Lyngdoh and FCPC fans at adidas’ store in Phoenix Market City, Pune today.

The new kit includes the latest in adidas’ lightweight and breathable technologies to ensure the players take to the pitch the most performance-driven design ever. The new kits feature adidas’ patented Climacool technology that will keep the players dry for longer and reduce the amount of weight they carry during the 90 minutes, which could make all the difference in the final 10 minutes of an intense football match. The kit features the classic V-neck cut collar and the iconic 3-stripes design down the shoulder.

Talking about the association, Damyant Singh, Brand Director, adidas India, said: “Given the youth & student population of Pune and its rich sporting culture, this is a vital partnership for adidas. The design of the kit while appealing to the loyal supporters of the game and the club, will also showcase our expertise in creating state of the art performance products.”

The jersey gives fans the closest experience of being a part of the club. I feel adidas is a brand of champions and our team which is full of champions deserves an association like adidas.

Inculcating the values of the great Maratha warrior and the motto of ‘Honour, Passion, Glory’, FC Pune City aspires to be a leading sports franchise. Fans can grab their own FC Pune City jersey which will be available for purchase for Rs.1,899 at select adidas outlets in Pune from October, 2015.
