AAP : Contrary to FM Jaitley claim

Union Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley has so far claimed that he was the non-executive president and he was in no way connected with any wrong doing in the DDCA so far. The Aam Aadmi Party, today, is putting in public domain irrefutable and direct evidence to confront Mr. Jaitley. He has not only consistently misused his political clout but also actively connived with all the wrong doers to hide large-scale corruption and financial irregularities.
The AAP is circulating two letters written by Mr. Jaitley to Delhi Police asking it to close the entire investigation in the FIRs in Syndicate Bank Cricket Club bungling case.
The AAP challenges Mr. Jaitley to deny that on 27, October 2011 he had written a letter to the then Police Commissioner of Delhi Mr. B K Gupta asking for closure of investigation in the Indraprastha Police Station against DDCA office bearers regarding Syndicate Bank Cricket Club. (Please find attached a copy of Mr. Jaitley’s letter to Mr. B K Gupta).
Further, on 5 May 2012, Mr. Jaitley wrote to the then Special Commissioner of Delhi Police Mr. Ranjit Narayan in a bid to pressurize him to immediately stop questioning of suspect DDCA officials and close the case. (Please find attached a copy of Mr. Jaitley’s letter to Mr. Ranjit Narayan).
The AAP is asking following questions to Mr. Jaitley about his direct involvement in covering up the multi-crore DDCA scam.
  1. Mr. Jaitley, is it not a fact that you misused your position as Leader of the Opposition (LoP) of Rajya Sabha to pressurize the Delhi Police?
  2. Being an eminent lawyer yourself, can you deny that your action amounts to directly obstructing the police investigation in an ongoing case ?
  3. Mr. Jaitely, on what basis did you conclude that the complaints regarding Syndicate Bank were unsubstantiated and disclosed no offence?
  4. Given your political clout in this central government, is it fair for you to continue as a central minister, particularly when the Delhi Police directly reports to the Centre ?
  5. Mr. Jaitley, What was your interest in attempting to derail the investigation and did you reveal your action in the next DDCA AGM?
