La Embajada de Chile en India y el Instituto Cervantes, tienen el placer de invitarle a la charla y recital poético musical,
Tras los pasos de Gabriela Mistral, una mujer intelectual
el sábado 22 de octubre, a las 11:30 a.m. en la biblioteca del Instituto Cervantes en Nueva Delhi (48, Hanuman Road, Connaught Place). La charla, a cargo de Silvina Cormick, estará dedicada a la vida y obra de la ganadora del Premio Nobel de Literatura, Gabriela Mistral, ofreciendo un recorrido por algunos de los momentos más significativos de su vida: sus inicios literarios, su consagración como poeta y como personalidad reconocida dentro y fuera de América Latina. Después de la charla se recitarán poemas de Gabriela Mistral traducidos al hindi, bengalí, urdu y marathi, intercalados con música escrita a partir de los poemas de Mistral.  (+)

on Saturday October 22nd, at 11:30 a.m. in the library of theCervantes Institute in New Delhi (48, Hanuman Road, Connaught Place). The talk, presented by Silvina Cormick, is dedicated to the life and work of the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Gabriela Mistral and will offer a look at some of the most significant moments of her life to meet from her literary beginnings to her consecration as Chilean poet and personality recognized inside and outside Latin America. After the talk poems of Gabriela Mistral translated into Hindi, Bengali, Urdu and Marathi, interspersed with written from Mistral's poems they recited music. (+)

Teatro: "María Sabina" de Camilo José Cela, por Sheela Raj
Sinopsis: Obra poético-dramática de Camilo José Cela inspirada en la figura de María Sabina, la celebre mujer de conocimiento mazateca. Escrita en 1965, fue publicada en 1967, durante la década del renacimiento del interés por los vegetales enteogénicos. (+)
Theatre: "María Sabina" by Camilo José Cela, by Sheela Raj
Sinopsis: Poetic drama by Camilo Jose Cela inspired by the figure of Maria Sabina, the famous woman Mazatec knowledge. Written in 1965, it was published in 1967, during the decade of the revival of interest in the hallucinogenic plant. (+)

Teatro: "El otro", "El libro de arena" y "Tigres azules" de Jorge Luis Borges, por Kaivalya Plays
Sinopsis: Tres relatos fantásticos de Borges cobrarán vida en el escenario de la mano del director Varoon P Anand. En "El otro" Borges dialoga consigo mismo a través del espacio y el tiempo, mientras que en los otros dos la desbordante fantasía del autor se traslada a la India. (+)
Theatre: "The Other", "The Book of Sand" & "Blue Tigers" by Jorge Luis Borges, performed by Kaivalya Plays
Synopsis: Three short stories by Borges will be performed on the stage directed by Varoon P Anand. In "The other" Borges keeps a conversation with himself through the time and the space. India is the setting for the other two stories. (+)

Duterte proposes another UN August 21, 2016 Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte railed against the United Nations today after it called for an end to the wave of killings unleashed by his war on drugs, saying he might leave the organisation.
