Akhilesh sacks 6 ministers
Uttar Pradesh, in a dramatic turn of events, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has reportedly sacked six senior ministers of his cabinet including his uncle and state party chief Shivpal Singh Yadav. Other ministers who have been sacked are Om Prakash Singh, Shadab Fatima, Gayatri Prajapati, Madan Chauhan and Narad Roy- all considered close to Shivpal Yadav. Besides, close ally of Amar Singh and vice chairperson of film development corporation Jaya Prada has also been sacked today.
Coming out after attending the meeting several legislators said Akhilesh Yadav has categorically stated in the meeting that nobody will be tolerated who is with Amar Singh. They said some ministers have been sacked and the list is sent to the Governor. However, when asked about formation of new party by Akhilesh Yadav, the legislators who attended the meeting said that Chief Minister ruled out about such move saying he will always eulogise and rever Mulayam Singh Yadav as his leader.
Our correspondent reports that Akhilesh Yadav also said that he will attend the meeting called tomorrow by party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
On the other hand supporters of Shivpal Yadav who gathered in front of his house, have openly condemned the role of party general secretary Ramgopal Yadav.Meanwhile Shivpal Yadav has reached the residence of Mulayam Singh Yadav in Lucknow to discuss the situation emerged today.
