We are delighted to inform you that Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in association with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and League of Arab States is organising the “3rd Arab-India Partnership Conference on 22nd – 23rd May”, 2012 in Abu Dhabi.

The 3rd Arab India Partnership Conference is also supported by the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (GUACCIA), apex business chamber of Arab countries and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce.

The event is likely to inaugurate by H.H The Foreign Minister of UAE and Shri S.M. Krishna, External Affairs Minister, Govt. of India.

The conclave, a flagship event of FICCI, has emerged as one of the much awaited annual events for promoting the flow of business and investments between India and the Arab countries.

As you are aware, Trade between the Arab countries and India in the last few years has exceeded $120 billion and over 60 lakh Indians live and work in the Arab world.

The objective of 3rd Arab India Partnership conference is to promote bi-directional flow of investments and to facilitate the process of seeking investable projects across sectors open to joint business ventures. At the same time, to provide an ideal platform to promote exports of Indian expertise and technical know-how to the League of Arab States to enable them set-up identical business models and upgrade their human resources.

During the conference, we are expecting more than 200 participants from 22 Arab Countries (Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates & Yemen), which includes CEO’s, Govt. Officials, Investors, Investment Agencies and Business Communities to attend the conference.

In view of the business opportunities offered by Arab States and your business interests in the region, may I request you to participate in the forthcoming conclave along with the list of all your invest able projects that may be presented to potential Arab businesses and investors during the summit. To defray a part of the expenses such as printing of who’s who, communication expenses, etc. incurred in connection with organising the visit, a delegation fee of INR 30,000/- (+ 10.3% Service Tax) per person is being charged. The participants will have to bear their travel & accommodation expenses.
