Summer Carnival of books and crafts

In a first such collaboration Dastakar and National Book Trust India is organizing a special carnival for children from 17th - 26th May 2013.  At a specially designed and beautifully decorated book corner called ‘Forest of Imagination children will be ­­­­­­­­­ transported to the magical world of books.  Stimulating and entertaining the book corner will feature book readings, story-telling and illustrating activities alongwith stalls of books for children.   
Besides, workshops on theatre, arts, and crafts will help children to create and make their designer crafts.
Also in place will be fun food stalls, entertainment and cultural programmes.
Date:                          17th – 26th May 2013
Time:                         4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Venue:                      Nature Bazaar, Kisan Haat, Andheria Modh near Chattarpur Metro Station, Delhi.
