FICCI HEAL 2013,

FICCI HEAL 2013, “Sustainable Quality Healthcare”
September 2 & 3, 2013 at FICCI, New Delhi

I am pleased to inform you that Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is organizing 7th FICCI HEAL 2013, its annual International Healthcare Conference on September 2 & 3, 2013 at FICCI, New Delhi. The central theme of the Conference is “Sustainable Quality Healthcare”.

As you are aware, India houses more than 17% of the world population, 21% of the global diseases and the largest burden of communicable diseases in the world, yet our healthcare infrastructure is one of the weakest. This resource shortage has resulted in a lack of quality health care that is affordable to the masses.

In order to accomplish ‘Quality Healthcare for All’, we would need to integrate affordability with accessibility, quality and viability. Since private sector in India plays a critical role, contributing to 80% of healthcare delivery, there is a need for policies that will promote meaningful collaboration between the private and public sector. Only then can we have a sustainable model for healthcare delivery in India.

In this context we are organizing our annual health conference on the theme ‘Sustainable Quality Healthcare’. The Conference would be a conglomeration of policy makers and national and international leaders from healthcare and associated industries. Our endeavor, through this conference, is to keep affordability and viability of healthcare as the core theme and deliberate on the emerging opportunities, challenges and solutions.

We have invited Mr P Chidambaram, Hon’ble Finance Minister, Government of India and Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, Former President of India to speak at the Conference, apart from many eminent personalities of the healthcare sector.

On the side lines of the Conference we are also organizing the following activities:
  • Poster presentation on the theme “Sustainable Quality Care – My Problem, My Solution” where professionals/students are invited to participate.
  • Sandbox Session on Innovations in Healthcare
  • FICCI Healthcare Excellence Awards on the theme “Successful Innovation” to recognize the efforts of healthcare organization in exhibiting operational excellence, addressing industry issues and individual recognitions to persons who have moved the needle supported by Quality Council of India
In view of your contribution and presence in the health services sector, we are pleased to invite you to register for the Conference.
