If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money goes to China . If we spend it on gasoline it goes to the Arabs. If we buy a computer, it will go to India . If we purchase fruits and vegetables it will go to Mexico , Honduras and Guatemala . If we purchase a good car, it will go to Germany  and Japan . If we purchase useless crap, it will go to Taiwan . In short, none of it will help the American economy. The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes and beer, since these are the only products still produced in the US . I've been doing my part....."

Govt to prepare database of rape convicts, make it public Posted on December 30, 2012 by sagarmedia In an attempt to name and shame rapists, the government has decided to prepare a data base of all rape convicts across the country and their photographs, names and addresses would be made public. Minister of State for Home R P N Singh said he has directed the National Crime Records Bureau to prepare a directory of all rape convicts and upload their photographs, names and addresses on its website. “We are planning to start it in Delhi. Photographs, names and addresses of the rapists will be uploaded on Delhi Police website also,” he told reporters in New Delhi. Singh said that subsequently the plan will cover all states and Union Territories and websites of state police forces will carry photographs, names and addresses of the rape convicts. Gang rape victim had planned a wedding party in Delhi December 30, 2012 Girl victim of a gang-rape,then murdered triggered an outpouring of grief and anger across country is cremated at a private ceremony at  wee hours on Sunday as it emerged she was planning to get married in February.The girl, a physiotherapy student, was gangraped and brutally assaulted allegedly by six men in a moving bus in south Delhi on December 16 night.She died on Saturday at around 2:15 a.m. The mortal remains were flown to the capital in a Special Aircraft of Air India and after landing at IGI airport. Family members accompanied the body.The cremation took place under a dense cover of fog. Foreign exchange earnings from tourism rises up 22% December 30, 2012 Government has earned 83,938 crore rupees as foreign exchange from tourism as against 68,721 crore rupees last year. This amounts an increase of 22 per cent this year. The visa-on-arrival scheme drew 13,903 tourists as against 11,121 visitors in 2011, a rise of about 25 per cent this year. Exploring possibilities of giving export industry status to the tourism sector and to meet the demands of the Indian Tour operatrors, the ministry announced that a comprehensive study will be carried out on impact of taxation on the sector. With an aim to develop integrated tourism circuits in south India, the ministry has formed Southern Zonal Tourism Council comprising Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry.

JCCI ask Abe to join TPP talks Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry approached PM Abe  wants the government to declare as soon as possible that the country will join negotiations for a Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade agreement. JCCI made this requests in a letter delivered to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe by its chairman Tadashi Okamura on Friday. National Water Resources Council Adopts National Water Policy (2012) The National Water Resource Council has adopted the National Water Policy (2012). The consensus in this regard was made during 6th meeting of the council held here in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. Man Mohan Singh. This has been stated by the Union Water Resource Minister Shri Harish Rawat while addressing the media persons today itself. Shri Rawat said earlier there were apprehensions expressed by some of the States about the proposed National Water Framework Law and it was apprehended that it would infringe upon the rights of the States on water.    India, Pak review implementation of existing bilateral CBMs December 28, 2012 India and Pakistan has reviewed the implementation of existing bilateral confidence building measures, including the ceasefire along the LoC during their expert-level meeting on conventional CBMs in New Delhi.  The two sides also exchanged ideas to further advance the CBM process and reaffirmed their commitment to continue discussions with the aim of strengthening conventional CBMs, a joint statement issued after the meeting said. “The talks were held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere,” it said.
