Oriental Bank of Commerce celebrated its 71st Foundation Day                 on 19th February 2013


Oriental Bank of Commerce, a Leading Public Sector Bank celebrated its                         71st Foundation Day on 19th February, 2013.

On this occasion, different cultural events and camps for health check up, eye check up, blood donation camps, langars, felicitating both poor/needy and deserving students in schools, etc. were organized across the country by the Regional Offices/Branches of the Bank.

The Bank is on the threshold of entering into the league of big banks and is targeting to cross the milestone of Business Mix of Rs.3,00,000 crore by March,2013. The Bank presently has a Branch Network of 1964 Branches and 1369 ATMs all over India and a total customer base of more than 1.91 crore. During the current financial year, Bank has opened 3 (Three) New Regional Offices at Meerut and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and Jodhpur in Rajasthan. With this, the Bank has a total of 33 (Thirty Three) Regional Offices across the Country.

Bank plans to reach 2000 (Two Thousand) Branches by 31st March, 2013.

Duterte proposes another UN August 21, 2016 Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte railed against the United Nations today after it called for an end to the wave of killings unleashed by his war on drugs, saying he might leave the organisation. Duterte also said the Philippines will invite China and African nations to form another global organisation in place of United Nations, as world body is not doing enough to address hunger and terrorism.
