India calls off talks with Pakistan
A continuous ceasefire violations  on the India Pak border by Pakistan rangers every day from last ten day and their invitation to Hurriyat leaders just before the beginning of secretary level talks  has made PM Modi to act tough, India on Monday called off Foreign Secretary-level talks with Pakistan next week and conveyed a blunt message that it was interfering in India’s internal affairs by holding talks with Kashmiri separatists which was “unacceptable”.
Upset that despite being firmly told by Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh that Pakistan has to choose between “India or separatists” for talks, its top envoy here went ahead with the meeting, India said, “Therefore, under the present circumstances,…no useful purpose will be served by the Indian Foreign Secretary going to Islamabad next week.””Indian Foreign Secretary had conveyed to the Pakistan High Commissioner (Abdul Basit)today, in clear and unambiguous terms, that Pakistan’s continued efforts to interfere in Indias internal affairs were unacceptable. “
It was underlined that the Pakistani High Commissioners meetings with these so called leaders of the Hurriyat undermines the constructive diplomatic engagement initiated by Prime Minister Modi in May on his very first day in office,” Spokesperson in the External Affairs Ministry Syed Akbaruddin said.
Singh was to travel to Islamabad on 25th August to hold talks with her Pakistani counterpart Aizaz Chaudhry, nearly two years after the Indo-Pak talks were stalled due to incidents along the LoC.

Duterte proposes another UN August 21, 2016 Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte railed against the United Nations today after it called for an end to the wave of killings unleashed by his war on drugs, saying he might leave the organisation. Duterte also said the Philippines will invite China and African nations to form another global organisation in place of United Nations, as world body is not doing enough to address hunger and terrorism. There appears to be human rights working for terrorist and mafia in third world to keep their states in dire state. Two UN human rights experts last week urged Manila to stop the extra-judicial executions and killings that have escalated since Duterte won the Presidency. About 900 suspected drug traffickers have been killed since he came to power after winning the election on May 9.
