When every region of the country has surplus power and 82,869 MW of Installed capacity is shut down on; against generation of3,146 MU which is average generation 1,31,083 MW only on July24, 2016 whereas installed capacity is 3,03,118 MW, Saurav Patel is selling ADANI, TATA, ESSAR Surplus Power to Railways.

Vemagiri area in Andhra Pradesh has huge potential of Gas based generation projects due to availability of Gas in Krishna-Godavari basin. The availability of the Gas as fuel has attracted many IPP developers to establish power plants in the vicinity. In this regard, 4 nos. of IPP generation projects with the total installed capacity of about 5400 MW have been granted LTA for quantum of 5150 MW.

 

Southern Region is facing severe power shortage. As per Operational data, the region faced Power deficit of about 8.4% (i.e about 3270MW) during 2014- 15 (Apr’14- Feb’15). This power deficit situation has arisen mainly due to (i) delay/deferment of anticipated generation projects and (ii) also due to non‐availability of gas for existing gas projects in Southern Region. Presently the existing/planned system can facilitate import of about 9000 – 10000 MW into Southern Region. However under certain scenarios of non‐availability / delay in commissioning of some of the generation projects in Southern region expected power transfer requirement is about 16000 MW by 2018-19.

When there was Short Term Deficit of 3270 MW in 2014 in Southern Region– MoP went about Creating 16,000 MW Inter Regional Transmission Capacity but there is just 280 MW Deficit against about 18,000 MW Generation Shut Down.

Sanitation workers in India die

Sanitation workers in India die doing their job because they don’t have the right equipment. Sign my petition to help give them get the right tools. Sign my petition Dear Sagar Media Inc, They died doing their job. Suffocation from toxic fumes, heat-stroke, drowning in sewage and disease. Over 100 sanitation workers die every year in India because they don’t have access to proper cleaning equipment. It is time to change that. I want to start with my city, Surendranagar in Gujarat. Sagar Media Inc, sign my petition and tell the Collector of Surendranagar to take action against municipal officials who put these men’s lives at risk by not providing them with proper equipment. I took a video of sanitation workers in my neighbourhood and showed it to the Municipality CEO. I was shocked at her response. Even as she watched the video, she denied any wrongdoing on the local government’s part. She got defensive and tried to shift the blame on to private contractors. This is why I need your help. If thousands of people sign this petition the officials will feel public pressure and take action. When I hit 25,000 signatures I will take this petition to the Collector. Taxation in India is SCAMMED and implementation is SCANDALOUS that has
led to a situation where rich states are becoming richer and poor
becoming poorer.

I was stunned to see Online Pizza made in Village Factory delivered
was taxed 18.5% [VAT 12.5% and Service Tax 5.6% Plus Cess].

    VAT & SERVICE Tax administration doesn’t distinguish between a Five
Star establishment and a Village Factory.
    A Pensioner aged 86% is now subjected to 10% TDS for annual income
of Rs.50,000/- on Fixed Deposits.
    Luxury Products for the Consumption of SUPER RICH are Taxed Lower
than even food factories.
    Banks are FUNDING SCAMMED CORPORATE than New Enterprises.
    Banks are promoting HOARDING – TRADERS – sanctioning Working Capital
when CORPORATE had pending Dues of Suppliers for 6 months & Had Taken
Advances from Agencies & Distributors.
