Tech Plan for 787 improvement under review

18 04 2013  The top US aviation official says a plan submitted by Boeing to fix problems with its 787 Dreamliners is still under review.Federal Aviation Administration chief Michael Huerta testified at a Senate committee hearing on Tuesday.  FAA grounded the jets after one of them made an emergency landing in western Japan in January and another suffered a fire at an airport in Boston.Huerta said he has all the data needed to decide whether the planes can return to commercial service.But he did not give a clear timeline. Duterte proposes another UN August 21, 2016 Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte railed against the United Nations today after it called for an end to the wave of killings unleashed by his war on drugs, saying he might leave the organisation. Duterte also said the Philippines will invite China and African nations to form another global organisation in place of United Nations, as world body is not doing enough to address hunger and terrorism.
