Sub:    Case of half right side paralyzed patient aged 65 years,  Shri. Chatru Singh son of Late Shri. Sagwa Singh r/o F-2/287, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi-110062, Mob: 97116-98973, missing from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

Dear Shri. Ghulam Nabi Azad ji,

I wish to bring to your kind notice a case of a missing patient who is half right side paralyzed and aged 65 years. He was admitted at AIIMS on 9th April 2013 in Emergency Ward & Registration No. : 2013/030/0031958 at 10:53:06 PM named Mr. Chatru Singh. He was treated by Neurology-III and was admitted in the emergency.

On 10th April 2013, the patient was checked by Dr. Neha Rai (Neurology), patient ID No.: N48761 and the CT Brain NCCT was conducted in room No. 19 & slip No. 8219 in the hospital. There after the patient was taken back at the emergency ward.

Now on the morning of 11th April 2013, the relatives of the patient found Mr. Chatru Singh missing from his bed. It is surprising that the patient was half paralyzed. He could not have moved from the bed on his own. Also despite the fact that there are hospital security guards posted in the ward and security cameras installed therein. But no one from the hospital has helped the relatives of the missing patient to help locate him. A police complaint has been lodged at Hauz Khas Police Station, New Delhi. But the patient is still untraceable.

On asking for the CCTV footage from the hospital emergency ward, the surprising answer is that the CCTV camera’s are not working. This is deplorable in a premier hospital of India.

We express our deep shock and anguish at the negligent attitude of the AIIMS watch and ward staff in the present case.  We request you to look in the matter and help the poor family living in Sangam Vihar, New Delhi. Please respond at the earliest. With warm regards,

(VIJAY JOLLY)

Duterte proposes another UN August 21, 2016 Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte railed against the United Nations today after it called for an end to the wave of killings unleashed by his war on drugs, saying he might leave the organisation. Duterte also said the Philippines will invite China and African nations to form another global organisation in place of United Nations, as world body is not doing enough to address hunger and terrorism. There appears to be human rights working for terrorist and mafia in third world to keep their states in dire state. Two UN human rights experts last week urged Manila to stop the extra-judicial executions and killings that have escalated since Duterte won the Presidency. About 900 suspected drug traffickers have been killed since he came to power after winning the election on May 9.
