Three-day long exhibition showcasing breakthrough innovations from biggest brands

26th October 2012, New Delhi: Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA) today, launched the inaugural edition of Home Electronics Show(HES) – India’s biggest ever exhibition of Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, ICT and Digital Lifestyle Products. This three-day, high energy extravaganza is being held from 26th to 28th October 2012, at Hall 14, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Anirudh Dhoot, President CEAMA said, “Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances Industry is now a 45,000 crores industry. It is an important part of the national economy and provides employment to hundreds of thousands of people in the country. The show would offer an unprecedented opportunity for the grobal consumer electonics and home appliances industry to exhibit and explore one of the most dynamic and fastest growing economics in the world- India. The show creates a unified platform to showcase products, offerings, capabilities and innovations to the Indian consumer. We want this to be an annual event so that it becoms a platform for brands for Indian and multinationals to shocase their unique innovation. Videocon in HES 2012: Videocon has displayed Digital Direct Broadcast (DDB). Top 7 technology leaders have collaborated to create a Technology Platform for Televisions tht will revolutionize the TV category. This is the only technology, which integrates TV with Direct-to-Home  providing three dimensional viewing with internet facility and using cloud computing tec. DDB benefits include Digital Direct TV, 2D to 3D conversion, net browing, cloud computing etc. DDB would be displayed in three series, Series 3, Series 5 and series 7. Series 7 has the facility of Cloud Computing.
