East Asia summit starts in Cambodia today



Negotiations on regional comprehensive economic partnership will be launched at the East Asia summit beginning in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said the summit will be a springboard for rapid expansion of economic relations.
Apart from maritime security, which was strongly taken up by ASEAN leaders also, there will be discussions on cooperation in energy, education and disaster management.
Manmohan Singh will hold meetings with the Prime Minister of Brunei in the morning and later join the deliberations at the East Asia Summit.

Duterte proposes another UN August 21, 2016 Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte railed against the United Nations today after it called for an end to the wave of killings unleashed by his war on drugs, saying he might leave the organisation. Duterte also said the Philippines will invite China and African nations to form another global organisation in place of United Nations, as world body is not doing enough to address hunger and terrorism. There appears to be human rights working for terrorist and mafia in third world to keep their states in dire state.
