Corporate Led TOILET MISSION, Post Million NGOs Failure
June28, 2015 (C) Ravinder Singh progressindia008@yahoo.com

Corporate with profit motive can’t provide Toilets where Non Profit or Corrupt NGOs had failed. TERI for 40 years with over 1000 Foreign Projects are yet to develop a single Commercial Technology or Stove. This inventor Specialize in Developing Commercial Technologies For World Market Including Toilets But Patents Are Delayed, Funds Denied, and Corporate Don’t Partner.

There are Misconceptions why people in India ‘Defecate in Open’, don’t have toilets – some believe it is Caste system upper caste don’t clean toilets when actually mothers clean the diapers of babies etc also clean toilets. Only the Super Rich afford maids for cleaning cooking don’t clean toilets.

Reasons Are Poverty & Corrupt Municipalities-Panchayats.

Ø      When we built home in 1962 architect advised us to place a flushing toilet within Bathrooms, so instead of a bath and a toilet we had Two Baths with Toilets in them in middle of the living space serving four rooms. My uncle who had bigger house nearby then built all bedrooms with attached baths and flushing toilets. All Star Hotels Have Attached Bath & Flushing Toilets.

Ø      Then half of owners built a baths and a flushing toilet on the back side for service entry--. [CPWD or PWDs actually Promoted the Idea of separate toilet and bath.] They realized their mistakes and renovated homes have attached Baths With Toilets.

Ø      Not a Single Planned Township is Without Attached Bath Cum Flushing Toilet or Newly Built Home is Without a Flushing Toilet. OPEN SEWAGE IS SEVERE PROBLEM IN RAINS. PROVIDE UNDERGROUND SEWER SYSTEM WITH STP.

Ø      Slum Dwellers/Homeless/Poor have no toilets because they have no land and money also have no access to Electricity & Water, Number 1 & 2 Priorities.

LET DOWNS ARE POOR INCOME DISTRIBUTION
& CORRUPT MUNICIPALIES & PANCHAYATS.

MOST WEIRD ‘DRDO-CORPORATE TOILET MISSION’

Ø      Toilet Mission is MOST WEIRD because First Cum Second Priority in India is Water & Electricity, as pointed out already ‘Where there is Bath there is Toilet.’ High Cost DRDO Toilets Placed Outside Homes Is MOST WEIRD. CSIR-DSIR in 70 years had not created a Single Commercial Technology Wasted $10b yearly.

Ø      RIL contributes 1% of Revenue as Salary and Less Than 0.1% as Dividend to Common Shareholders. When Corporate Contribute 10% as Wages of Revenue, 5% as Dividend to Common Shareholders There shall Be No Poverty in India.

Ø      Reserve 50% of Budget for RURAL India, Provide Solar Power, Water Supply, Sewer Lines & STP, MSME Food Processing – Let People Have Toilets & Baths.
