Dear Sir/ Madam, 

                             A delegation from Gujarat will be meeting the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Land Acquisition Bill on June 23. 

A press conference is being organised at Anhad ( C 5 Nizamuddin West, Basement, New Delhi-110013,
 tel- 011-41670722)  on June 23 at 2.30pm . Members of the delegation will speak to the media about the 
the Land acquisition situation in Gujarat and related issues.  

The members of the delegation are: Gautam Thaker, General Secretary, PUCL, Gujarat, Mahesh Pandya, 
Convenor, Gujarat Social Watch and Prof Hemant Kumar Shah, member, Gujarat Lok Samiti and a 
well known economist. 

Kindly depute a reporter and a photographer/ camera team to cover the press conference.

Duterte proposes another UN August 21, 2016 Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte railed against the United Nations today after it called for an end to the wave of killings unleashed by his war on drugs, saying he might leave the organisation. Duterte also said the Philippines will invite China and African nations to form another global organisation in place of United Nations, as world body is not doing enough to address hunger and terrorism. There appears to be human rights working for terrorist and mafia in third world to keep their states in dire state. Two UN human rights experts last week urged Manila to stop the extra-judicial executions and killings that have escalated since Duterte won the Presidency.
